  • 2008 All-Comers Outdoor Track & Field Meets
  • Sundays, May 25, June 8, June 22 -- first event 8:30 am | Second annual "DC/MD/VA" high school hammer throw champs Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Falls Church High School, Falls Church VA
  • Saturday, July 5, July 26, August 2, August 16 -- first event 9:30 am

  • $8.00 non-PVTC members 18 and over; $6.00 PVTC members; $4.00 Youth under 18
  • Unlimited number of events for one entry fee
  • Register for all 7 meets and get one free (7 meets for the price of 6)

  • PVTC's 2008 Ed Barron Holiday Series Championship consists of 5 races:


  • Go Fourth 8K (4.98 miles), Friday, July 4, at 7:30 am - NOTE EARLY START TIME (registration opens at 6:30 am)
  • Location: Belle Haven Park & Marina
  • Prizes: Patriotic awards for top 3 in 10-year age groups (men and women), plus racewalkers
  • No preregistration is required, but please

  • Cranberry Crawl 5K / 10K Run and Race Walk, Saturday, November 22, at 8:30 am (registration opens at 7:30 am)
  • Location: Belle Haven Park & Marina
  • Prizes: Cranberry bread loaves for top 3 in 10-year age groups (men and women), plus racewalkers

  • Race day registration begins one hour before the race on-site
  • $4.00 for members of PVTC, $5.00 for all others.
  • We sell race-related pamphlets to cover costs.
  • The races are on park roads, paths, and sidewalks, open to the public.
  • We expect about 100 participants
  • The 5K and 10K races start at the same time (Go Fourth is only one 8K race)
