ALL TRACK & FIELD EVENTS (except hammer throws) ARE AT LANGLEY HIGH SCHOOL DIRECTIONS TO LANGLEY HIGH SCHOOL: 6520 Georgetown Pike, McLean VA 22101 From I-495, take Exit 44 VA-193 Georgetown Pike east 1 mile to school on left. (or) From George Washington Memorial Parkway, take VA-123 south 1 mile Pass CIA. Turn right on VA-193 west for 1 mile. School is on right. Parking is available all around the school building. Track is in back.

HAMMER THROW IS AT FALLS CHURCH HIGH SCHOOL Please check in and weigh in first at Langley High School DIRECTIONS TO FALLS CHURCH HIGH SCHOOL 7521 Jaguar Trail, Falls Church, VA 22042 From Langley, take VA-193 West Then take I-495 south to the Route 50 exit. Go east on Route 50 at the first light. Turn right onto Jaguar Trail. Then as the road bends to the left, take the right to the stop sign. At the stop sign, go straight into the parking lot. Track is on the right-hand side up the hill.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, release and discharge the promoters, directors, Potomac Valley Track Club, USATF, Fairfax County Public Schools, and organizations and municipalities whose facilities are being used for this event, from any and all claims for damages suffered by me as a result of my participation in the above events. I specifically release and discharge said promoters, directors and their agents, etc., from all injuries or damages arising from or attributed to any physical impairment or defect I may have, whether latent or patent, and agree that they are under no obligation to provide a physical examination or other evidence of my fitness to participate in above event, the same being my sole responsibility. I attest and verify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the Potomac Valley Games.

• All-weather six-lane 400 meter track. Short spikes (1/4" or less) only.
• Javelin will be thrown off grass.
• PYRO BRIGHT timing system & wind gauge will be used.

• Open to competitors of all ages.
• PVTC & PVA/USATF memberships are available in advance from their websites, but allow two weeks to process advance memberships.
• PVTC & PVA/USATF memberships will also be available at registration
  

• Order of events: Unless stated otherwise, women first, then men by age groups from youngest to oldest. Age groups may be combined, and trials may be converted to finals. Registration closes one hour before time listed for the event.
• Long Jump, Triple Jump, and throwing events: Six jumps/throws per athlete. All athletes should supply their own implements. Some are available at the track. USATF Rules apply.
• Athletes 14 and under will be limited to participating in the Saturday youth events. Athletes must be 15 or older to compete in Sunday events.
• For throwing events, the 15-18 age group will throw the college weight implements. All field events are measured in meters.

• Athletes in the Weight Pentathlon will also be scored in the five individual throwing events (weight throw, discus, and hammer on Saturday; shot put and javelin on Sunday). All competitors will have six throws.
