The half-marathon course is 21.0975 kilometers -- 10.5 km out'n'back = 21 km, plus 97.5 meters at the end.
The full-marathon course is 42.1950 kilometers -- 10.5 km out'n'back = 21 km, plus 97.5 meters in the middle, then another 10.5 km out'n'back, plus 97.5 meters at the end.

DIRECTIONS:
From Washington DC or Georgetown, take Key Bridge across Potomac River.
Stay on Fort Myer Drive through tunnel under Wilson Boulevard.
Cross over Route 50 Arlington Boulevard and take first left onto Route 50 East toward Washington.
Stay right and follow sign to George Washington Memorial Parkway.
(You can also take Memorial Bridge to the Parkway -- Take 23rd Street south to Lincoln Memorial and bear right to Memorial Bridge. At Memorial Circle, stay right to go north, then bear left and follow sign to George Washington Memorial Parkway.)
Follow George Washington Memorial Parkway past National Airport and through Old Town Alexandria.
Cross over I-495 Capital Beltway and continue south one more mile.
Bear left at Belle Haven Drive and pass Belle Haven Shell Station on right.
For unlimited parking, When you see Belle Haven Shell, turn right onto Belle Haven to park at any of the office buildings.
Park and walk towards the river. Cross the Parkway and you're at the starting line.
Belle Haven Park has only 166 open parking spaces and 7 handicapped spaces.
We reserve the 11 spaces closest to the bathrooms for other users of the park. If you absolute MUST
park at Belle Haven, pass Belle Haven Shell Station, then turn left at next left onto Belle Haven Marina Drive (not marked).
Immediately to your left is a narrow road that takes you to the middle and north parking areas.
If you pass that narrow road, your second left turns into the south parking area, which fills quickly.
Registration is at the drinking fountain area next to the bathroom.
Parking at Belle Haven Park fills quickly, so please park off-site -- more than 1000 spaces are available free on Belle Haven Road
at DaCosta's, 1213, Belle Haven Animal Medical Center, Cannon Building, and Professional (Jackson Prentiss) Building, all closed on Sunday.
Do not park at Belle Haven Shell Station or Pat's Market, but do stop there for fuel or coffee and say "Hi" for us.
More than 100 spaces are also available free on-street on Boulevard View across the Parkway, and
more than 400 spaces are also available free a half-mile away at Belle View Shopping Center.
